When you were young, and time seemed to stand still, did you ever wonder or have dreams about what you wanted to be when you grew up? I think most of us did. Some people just know what they want to do. Others, not so much, and that’s where the journey begins.

Some of the common careers children dream of are doctor, nurse, police officer, or maybe fire fighter. These are the typical things kids think about. I’m sure there are many others. Very few think about becoming an entrepreneur. Most may not even know what an entrepreneur is.

But if you do become one, there are a lot of cool things to learn along the way. As we grow up, we make decisions about what we want to do and where we want to go in life. We go to school, then college, university or trade school. We then venture out into that great big world not realizing what is out there for us to discover. It’s a lot bigger than we realize.

The next step for most is starting a family, buying a house, and all the things that go along with that. Then settling into a job which turns into a career. The family grows up and leaves the nest and then we retire and if we are lucky enough to have savings and a pension, we carry on into our golden years.

After living out the above scenario, something they don’t teach you in school is how to be happy with your life. What is being happy? Does anyone know? What are all the parts that come together to make one happy? Only you know that answer to that question. The one thing I do know, is that we are thrown to the wolves and expected to do what we do in life and figure that part out on our own. But what if there was a way to learn these skills? The skill of being happy. Well, there is.

It’s called personal development. It’s the path of least resistance. This doesn’t mean that you are lazy. It’s quite the opposite. It’s when you have tools to find your gifts and strengths. The things you were born with, that come naturally to you. Imagine knowing exactly what you are good at and applying those gifts to your life. Imagine how easy it would be to do something you’re naturally good at. It’s true!

What if we learned these gifts and strengths at a young age and had that knowledge combined with the desire to accomplish anything? How would this change our lives for the better? This would give you a more fulfilled life, a valued and more connected outcome. What a difference this would make to you.

The Mindful Trucker can help you with that very thing. Contact us at today for your personality assessment to see how you can start your journey to happiness.
